Are you a blogger? If not, do you want to be? If you are, do you wish you were better at it?
There is so much information out there about how to blog, it can quickly get overwhelming. Anytime you take on a new venture, there is always so much to learn. A new vocabulary. New strategies. Time management adjustments. This is never truer than with blogging. Sometimes I feel like I don’t even know what it is that I don’t know.
The one thing I do know is to go to the best possible sources of information to learn. Seek out people who are excelling at what they do and observe what they are doing well. There are a lot of hacks out there, and it is easy to feel like you have fallen down the rabbit hole of information overload. So be discerning and figure out what it is you want to accomplish with your blog and then study up on how to get there.
Some people prefer to hunt down everything they need to know on their own. And preferably for free. There is a lot of great free information available. You can certainly go about things this way. However, don’t be afraid to make an investment in yourself from time to time when you find some quality information. I prefer to shorten my learning curve by taking full advantage of the wisdom of those who have gone before me. I want to learn from someone who is further along than I am. I want all the information I can find. Especially if I can find it all in one place.
I have just such a place for you. 🙂 If you are familiar with the folks at Ultimate Bundles, you know that they put together some astounding compilations of information on various topics throughout the year. This time it is the Genius Bloggers Toolkit. 89 resources all in one place (28 eBooks, 43 videos & eCourses, 16 printables, workbooks & templates, 1 conference, 1 membership site). If you have ever wanted to start a blog or if you’ve already started but want to learn more, this toolkit is a great way to jumpstart everything. One thing I know is how important it is to start from the beginning with the best of the best. It’s much harder to “retrofit” your business with the tools you need if you don’t lay the groundwork from the get-go. When I started my Amazon business, I wanted to have all the best systems in place before I pressed “go.” I didn’t want to just start the business then add processes to help me as I went along whenever I found out I needed them. I wanted it all in place first. Same thing with blogging. I wanted to learn from people who have done this before so that when I finally hit “Publish” for the first time, I had everything in place to help me hit the ground running.
A toolkit like this can help you do it. Do the prep work. It makes everything that comes later so much easier. Kind of like painting a room. Do the work you need to do ahead of time. Picking up the paint roller is the last thing you do. All that taping and priming you do first makes the painting a breeze.
I am always learning and looking for ways to do everything better. You can never know it all. Being able to access the skills of so many influencers all in one place makes it so much easier. So no matter where you are in your blogging success journey, this toolkit has information that can help you get where you want to go. Remember, an investment in yourself is never a bad thing. You are worth every penny! 🙂
