What is it about spring that beckons us to host and attend parties? There are so many opportunities for spring party planning before the weather heats up and makes it less enjoyable to be outside.

There are spring brunches, birthday parties, Mother’s Day, graduation parties, Kentucky Derby parties, baby and wedding showers, and the list goes on.

We’ve already gotten invitations for a birthday party, a Derby party, and a wedding, so the calendar is filling up!

It can be intimidating to contemplate hosting a party because it does involve a lot of work. The key is to have a plan and a timeline.

I have put together a Spring Party Planning Guide for you that shows you just what to do, from choosing a date to sending out save-the-dates, to shopping, to theme suggestions.

Spring party planning is no different from any other season. The only things that change are the menu and the decor.

The same guidelines apply to a spring party and a Christmas party. You still need a timeline and a plan.

I’ve put together a Spring Party Planning kit for you that includes a sample menu, shopping list, a timeline, and a general guide for party planning you can use for all your festive gatherings.

The great part about this sample menu is that it is a mixture of homemade and store-bought. If you love to bake, make the pastries yourself. If not, stop by a local bakery and get what you need!

Many grocery stores and markets have prepared dishes that make entertaining easy. Don’t be afraid to look around and save yourself time and effort by serving prepared items. Just make sure they are really delicious. Simply replate them in lovely dishes, and you are good to go.

Just enter your email address below to receive your free party kit with the sample menu and shopping list. It’s a digital download, so no waiting. You can print it out and let the party begin!

If you’d rather just have the general Spring Party Planning Guide, you can get it here:
