It is August already. How? 🙂 That means school will be back in session soon and we want our little ones to be prepared when they go back!
I want to show you my new Alphabet Handwriting Practice Workbook. I published it this weekend so it’s ready to go!
It’s a nice big 8″ x 10″ in size. It provides practice sheets for both uppercase and lowercase letters. Let’s take a look:
There is so much to do with these pages. First, the child traces the letter, with directional arrows provided so they learn the proper way to write the letter.
Then they do the same skill by connecting the dots. Then they can color the letter, as well as a picture of a word that begins with that letter.
Then the child can trace over the letter on the handwriting-lined section. There is a section of blank lines where the child can write the letter without any assistance.
So your child has a full page of practice with each of the letters A-Z, with one page for uppercase, and one page for lowercase.
Then there are 26 lined pages where your child can practice a full page of lettering practice.
This Handwriting Workbook is perfect for young children who want to practice their skills before school starts again, as well as children who are just learning to write.
It also combines writing practice with other skills such as tracing, coloring, and sight word recognition.
If you have little ones at home, it’s a perfect time to set aside just perhaps thirty minutes a day as summer winds down for children to begin re-engaging with academic skills.
It will help them feel more confident and ready for school when everything starts back up in a few weeks.
I hope my new Handwriting Workbook can help you and your children do just that! I’d love to know what you think. Feel free to let me know in the comment section.
And I’d love for you to follow me on Pinterest!
