Christmas is fast approaching! Are you ready? If you need some fun, quick, and easy decorations or gifts, go get some Mason jars!
This weekend I decided to make some Mason jar Christmas decorations. It took me literally ten minutes, and they could not be easier.
Start with a Mason jar. This time of year, you can even find decorative jars with snowflakes and holiday themes.
Then for the snow, fill the jar with Epsom Salts!
Then put in something red. You could use real or fake cranberries. I liked these little sparkly red balls.
Then add some greenery. You can use real or artificial greenery.
That’s it! Done!
You can do one that’s even easier by just filling a jar with the Epsom Salts and adding a candle. I used a little battery operated votive. If you are using them as part of a table setting, you could use a real candle. But if you’re using them around the home, I would use the battery operated votives.
They are lovely by themselves, or as part of your holiday decorations. I put mine with a wooden advent calendar where I hide my candy 🙂 and some baby polar bears.
It looks pretty at night, too.
Everyone is so busy this time of year, and it can feel overwhelming sometimes trying to get everything done. Keep it simple!
These decorations are literally a mason jar, some Epsom salts, some decorative balls, greenery, and a candle. You may even already have everything you need around your home.
These can be used to decorate little areas of your home, as table decorations, or as hostess gifts. So if you’re feeling a little underdecorated and/or stressed, take an afternoon to yourself, and do some crafting!
I’d love to see what you come up with. Send me pictures of your creativity!
And I’d love for you to follow me on Pinterest!
