It’s here! Girl Scout Cookie Season!
Those little cookies are back.
The Girl Scouts, like so many of us, have had to pivot their businesses a bit over the past couple of years to adapt to commerce with Coronavirus restrictions, but they’re still going strong. It’s hard to believe that this time a couple of years ago I was talking about pairing Girl Scout Cookies with alcohol. Seems so quaint now, doesn’t it? π
I have heard there are still some lingering supply chain issues affecting the Girl Scouts and their cookie production, so availability may vary depending on where you live.
Before we get into how to buy your cookies this year, let’s talk about the lineup:
First up, there’s a new cookie on the block–Raspberry Rally. It’s a thin crispy cookie with raspberry filling and dipped in chocolate. It looks a lot like a Thin Mint!
Please note that this cookie is only available online and it is shipped to your home. They did sell out on the first day they were offered in January, but let’s hope they are back in stock!
I wasn’t able to find a link to order them directly online. The Girl Scout website just indicates to find a Girl Scout who can help you order them. Seems weird, but if you love raspberries, find a Girl Scout! π
It also looks like you may be able to use the Digital Cookie website, but you will need to set up an account.
Adventurefuls were last year’s new flavor, and they are back this year. It’s a brownie-type cookie with a soft caramel center, chocolate drizzle, and sea salt. My kind of adventure. π
The new cookie Toast-Yay! from a few years ago is still in the lineup this year. A cookie that tastes like French Toast is okay by me.
It’s shaped like a piece of toast, with a layer of icing on the bottom. Sounds like breakfast to me. π
Then our all-time favorites, starting with Thin Mints.
Lemonades:
Lemon Ups:
Caramel Delites/Samoas:
Shortbread/Trefoils:
Do-Si-Dos/Peanut Butter Sandwiches:
Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs:
Caramel Chocolate Chip:
Toffee-tastics:
And what respectable cookie lineup would be without s’mores? You know I love s’mores. π
Surely there is something in the lineup for everyone. And for you gluten-free folks, the Toffee-tastic and Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies are gluten-free!
So how do we get our cookies this year?
If you have a Girl Scout that you usually purchase from, (or a “dealer,” as I call mine π ), check with them to see where they are selling their cookies this year.
If you don’t know a Girl Scout, you can text COOKIES to 59618 to find out where you can purchase cookies.
Or you can get the Girl Scout Cookie Finder App in your app store. This will tell you where you can find cookie booths in your area.
Or you can enter your zip code in the online Girl Scout Cookie Finder to find out where cookies will be sold in your area, and on what dates.
It shows you the address where the girls will have a booth and the hours of operation. I see that I have several options very nearby for me to get the goods. π
Cookies are normally on sale through April, but that can vary by location, so check your zip code on the Girl Scout site to find out when they will be available in your area.
Then get out there and get those cookies!
And I’d love for you to follow me on Pinterest!

Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I should not have read your article before I ate dinner. But then again, my mom always used to say that life was uncertain and you should eat your dessert first. I’m leaning that way tonight. That’s wonderful to hear that Door Dash has teamed with the Girl Scouts to get everyone their cookies this year. Great idea! I’ll have to give my dog, Henry his special cookies, while I chow down on my delicious Girl Scout cookies. Thanks for the update! I’m sharing with my dog friends, who am sure love Girl Scout cookies as much as me. Henry probably would love them too, but he has his own. π€£πΆπ
Wow! I’m not sure that they even do Girl Guide cookies here in the UK where I live now but I do remember growing up in Jamaica where that was such a nice big thing to look forward to.
I loved them and wish I could have a taste again so for Old Time’s Sake, lol
I can imagine they have had to do some twisting and shaking to still be able to cope despite the pandemic.
And they do look and sound yummy too. Will pin.
I agree–the girls are getting quite an education on how to stay nimble in business! π I guess if you can sell cookies in a pandemic the years after we get out of this thing should be easy!
