St. Patrick’s Day is almost here! If you saw my blog post last week, you’ve hopefully been enjoying your daily Leprechaun’s Kiss Martini. 🙂 You know what would go great with that martini? How about some Shamrock Brownies?
If you need a quick and easy St. Patrick’s Day dessert, it doesn’t get much easier than these Shamrock Brownies.
If you take a close look at a shamrock, it’s nothing more than a group of perfectly shaped little green hearts!
So that got me thinking how easy it would be to make some Shamrock Brownies using a heart shaped pan or cookie cutter.
I used a silicone mold to make mine, and just used my favorite brownie mix. If you use the cookie cutters, just make your brownies in a 9×13 pan or whatever the recipe calls for, and then use the cookie cutters to cut out your shapes.
I let mine cool overnight. Then I arranged 3 to look like a shamrock and cut part of another brownie for the stem.
Then I iced them with chocolate icing, and used green sprinkles to decorate them.
See? It couldn’t be any easier to make these unless a leprechaun showed up and made them for you! 🙂
You can make large shamrocks, or little tiny ones. It doesn’t matter. Whatever you like! I used the silicone molds and the standard brownie mix made 16 fairly large heart shaped brownies.
So if you are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year and need a quick, easy, and delicious dessert, whip up some Shamrock Brownies. You’ll be the hit of the party!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
