We’ve been trying out some new beauty tools around here lately, and while I will share one with you in a few weeks, today I want to tell you about the Dermaflash Dermapore Pore Extractor and Serum Infuser. (That’s a mouthful!) 🙂
It is a small device with two functions. It is used to extract impurities from pores and is also used to infuse skincare products into your pores.
The product vibrates and uses ultrasonic waves to extract gunk from pores and increase the absorbency of skincare products.
It looks kind of like a stainless steel spatula that vibrates when you turn it on.
You can see which part of the device to use by the writing on the tool showing which part to use for extraction or infusion.
To use it in the extraction mode, you simply turn the device on and use it on a freshly clean face. You must keep your face wet while gliding the tool over your skin.
You push the power button once and the device will vibrate constantly and you will see a white light at the bottom of the tool.
You can either use water from the sink or even a thermal water spray. Just glide the tool over your skin, applying slight pressure so that the device can extract the impurities from your pores.
The Dermaflash is water-resistant so just rinse the spatula in the water in between extractions to remove anything that is extracted.
It might be a bit hard to see, but you can see some gunk extracted from pores along the side of the nose from a recent use.
You start at the outside of your cheeks, working inward toward the nose. You can then do your forehead, nose, and chin.
Once you have completed the extraction mode, you can then switch to the infuser mode.
To use this mode, just push the power button twice and the vibration will pulse as opposed to a steady vibration, and you will see a blue light at the bottom of the tool.
Apply your skincare product, then flip the Dermaflash over and use the flat side. Just gently glide the vibrating spatula over your face in outward motions to help infuse your products into your skin.
The device is rechargeable and comes with a USB charging cord.
In between uses, simply clean the spatula with rubbing alcohol to remove any residue.
It is recommended to use the Dermaflash Dermapore three times a week for maximum benefits.
If you exfoliate regularly or use a product to keep your pores clear, you might not see as much stuff extracted as others. But it’s never a bad idea to use everything in our arsenal to keep our complexions as glowy as possible. 🙂
I’d love to hear if you have used the Dermaflash Dermapore. Please feel free to share your experience in the comment section.
